Nick Loiselle

Manager of Procurement & Special Projects

Nicholas (Nick) was born and raised in Owen Sound Ontario, and grew up in a family that always stressed the importance of a strong work ethic. Entering the workforce at fourteen years old, he always worked whenever and wherever he could to gain valuable experience. Nick has a successful track record of managing major projects and brings proficiency in handling procurement practices, budget preparation and administration, along with the knowledge and understanding of the capital and infrastructure needs of a municipality.

After working in golf course management in Ontario, Nick moved to Saskatchewan in April of 2013 to become the Superintendent of Maintenance Operations at Sherwood Forest Golf & Country Club. His role quickly progressed into encompassing so much more than originally intended, expanding from directing a team of maintenance staff to also organizing and executing multiple large-scale projects, including the Club’s multi-million-dollar 10,000 square foot outdoor pool facility. While working with the board of directors through all stages of planning, Nick was instrumental in the procurement and project management elements of the projects. Over the course of his 8+ year tenure, he elevated the profile of the Club through his dedication to identifying areas of improvement and working collectively with the board, employees, contractors, and government agencies to tenaciously see them through. Nick also holds a diploma from Seneca College in King City Ontario.

When Nick isn’t working he can be found hunting, completing home renovations, or spending time with his wife (Taya) and daughter (Aliyah).
