Planning and Development
If you are considering building in Regina Beach
A development permit must be issued first.
Once a development permit has been issued builders can apply for a building permit.
Development Permits
The Zoning Bylaw and Official Community Plan details the regulations for development of property in Regina Beach.
If you are constructing a new building, adding to an existing building, grading or leveling land, changing the use of a building, etc. a development permit MUST be applied for through the Town office. The zoning bylaw lists projects that are exempt from needing a development permit.
You must obtain the necessary Development Permits from the Regina Beach Town Office before beginning any type of development or undertaking a new use or change in use.
The proposed development must comply with The Constructions Code Act and the National Building Code of Canada.
Building Permits
Once a Development Permit is issued, applicants can prepare their building
permit submission. Professional Building Inspections Inc. (PBI), have been
contracted by the Town of Regina Beach to perform building inspections.
Pro-inspections.ca – please select the project you are building. The forms listed will be required for Regina Beach Town Office to prepare and submit to Professional Building Inspections Inc. (PBI) for review, before issuing a building permit.
No person shall begin the construction, addition, alteration, renovation, repair, relocation, change of occupancy or use, or reconstruction of a building without first obtaining a valid Building Permit from the Town of Regina Beach.
