TEEN PHOTO CHALLENGE
Photography may already be part of your daily life by way of social media, but have you had the chance to share your work and have your work exhibited and celebrated?
In this challenge, the Town of Regina Beach’s Community Engagement Committee, invites teenagers — anyone 12 to 19 years old, from Regina Beach or surrounding area (Buena Vista, Kinookmaw, Lumsden Beach & RM of Lumsden - full time or part time residents) — to take photographs that depict some aspect of Regina Beach in each weather season.
There will be four phases to this challenge as follows:
Phase 1: “Spring into Regina Beach” May 26 – June 21 - Complete/winners will be announced July 30 at the Volunteer Pancake Breakfast
Phase 2: “Summer at the Beach” July 4 – August 31
Phase 3: “Fall into Regina Beach” October 1 – November 15
Phase 4: “Winter at the Beach” December 22 – March 6
Contest Terms
Phase 2 of the Teen Photo Challenge opens October 1st and ends November 15th at 4:30 pm. The challenge is open to teens aged 12 to 19 years old, from Regina Beach or surrounding area (Buena Vista, Kinookmaw, Lumsden Beach & RM of Lumsden - full time or part time residents). Must be your own original photo and a Photo Release/Entry Form must be submitted with each photo.
Photos also must be taken in Regina Beach.
Theme: “Fall into Regina Beach”
Photos that depict some aspect of Regina Beach in the fall season.

Chance to have your work showcased on the Town’s social media, etc.
Prizes
Images will be judged based on adherence/appropriateness to theme, uniqueness of concept, originality, and creativity. There are five prizes to be won. One winner will be selected for each phase. All phase winners will then be in competition for the title of the Teen Photographer of the Year for the grand prize, which will be determined by a public vote!
By submitting your photo, you give permission for the Town of Regina Beach to use it on our website, Facebook page, posters, etc.

If someone is in your photo, a Photo Release Form For Recognizable Person (included in the Photo Release & Entry Form) must be signed by them. If they are under 18, their parental guardian’s signature is required.
YOU MUST SUBMIT A PHOTO RELEASE & ENTRY FORM. SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IF THE FORMS ARE INCOMPLETE.
