Gas Leak - SaskEnergy in Control of Situation
Please note a gas leak has emerged at 5th & 5th where the Town had excavated for water main repairs. SaskEnergy was made aware of the dig because of their service lines in the area. A gas leak was identified and SaskEnergy is ONSITE, FULLY AWARE AND IN CONTROL OF the situation.
As a precautionary measure the Town has been in contact with residents in the immediate area.
Until the situation is fully resolved by the SaskEnergy crew the Town crew will not be working the water repairs at that location, and 5th and 5th will remain closed.
The Town will update as we receive information from SaskEnergy.
