Intro to Basketball Program

Hi South Shore Families,

My name is Falon Holinaty and I started playing basketball in grade 5 and fell in love with the sport. I played all through high school and received a full scholarship to Mississippi Valley State University to play volleyball and basketball. Over the years I've helped coach the senior boys at Lumsden High School and have been coaching South Shore's junior girls for 4 years, plus the junior boys this year.

I would like to start an annual basketball introduction and skill development program for the kids in grades 3, 4, 5 and 6. Learning the basics and some of the key rules will help build the confidence needed when joining the school's junior teams or to just have fun with their friends! The program will run Saturdays from April 2 to June 4 with a cost of $80/child. On June 11, I'd like to end the program with the kids playing a fun game against each other where the parents can come and watch.
