Landfill Temporarirly Cannot Accept Trees & Branches

We're too full! Due to the extremely large number of trees received after the two recent regional storms and limited safe weather to burn in, the Town of Regina Beach Landfill has temporarily run out of usable space for the clean wood section and cannot accept trees and branches effective immediately. As soon as we are able to reduce the volume and make more space, we will open it back up.

Please remember, Town of Regina Beach Residential Fire Control Bylaw prohibits any fires within municipal boundaries that are not in a covered fire pit that meets the minimum distances from overhanging trees, buildings, combustible ground cover and with a water source (full pail or hose) close by. Keep our community safe and do not burn outside of a regulation fire pit at any time. If you see an open fire that you are concerned about, call 911. The Town office does not have a fire professional on staff and the Town of Regina Beach Fire Department is a volunteer fire department, initiated and paid an honorarium when dispatched.
