Tina Blahitka

Born and raised near Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Tina Blahitka brings over 20 years of experience working in the accounting field to her new role as Finance Manager for the Town of Regina Beach. As a graduate of SIAST in Business, Accounting and Office Administration/Office Information System with a designation as a CCP (Certified Credit Professional) from the Credit Institute of Canada her professional career has centered around accurate and timely processing of financial services including payments and expenditures, reconciliations and financial reporting, while also successfully maintaining many client and project files simultaneously.

Through her impressive tenure at Yara Belle Plaine Inc. (formerly Saskferco Products Inc.) An international corporation, starting as an Administrative Assistant in 1995, Tina held a number of increasingly senior positions, most recently a Credit Analyst and Accounting Technician. Her desire to improve her own knowledge and skills as a lifelong learner, her attention to detail, analytical mind and helpful nature lead her to being called on to be a member of the corporate team responsible for testing, implementing and training on a new company wide information system for accounts receivable. Tina also developed an automated credit management system for the company and was responsible for recommending and writing procedure
protocols. 

Tina and her husband Todd moved from Moose Jaw to Regina Beach in 2008 and currently live in Buena Vista, where they love spending time together living the lake life. Tina serves on the executive committee of the Credit Institute of Canada (CIC), Saskatchewan Chapter as Program Convener and in her free time enjoys gardening, fishing, snowmobiling and of course crafting her gnomes.
