Re-Surfacing Project

You may have noticed that Old 54 has recently been re-surfaced. We would like to thank the New Building Canada Fund for making this possible.

This grant was part of the original lagoon grant. Government directed, the monies that were left over were to be spent on roadways related to the Lagoon only.

The project completion will occur in Spring 2021.

The reconstruction work on old 54 was authorized under scope change amendment # 1 in summer 2019 between The Town of Regina Beach, the Government of Canada and the Government of Saskatchewan.

Final work, including a final lift of asphalt, is due in spring of 2021.
The total expected final cost is $643,791.90.
The federal and provincial share of this cost is $429,216.06
The Regina Beach share of this cost is $214,575.84
