The Town of Regina Beach has an opportunity for a positive team player and self-starter in the full-time, permanent position of Administrative Clerk II. Reporting directly to the CAO, the Administrative Clerk II is a part of the front office team which is collectively the first line of response for the general public and serves town employees and the public in a pleasant, helpful, and professional manner regarding the general business of the municipality as needed. Specifically, the Administrative Clerk II is responsible for the administration of all functions related to the municipal utility billing system and utility accounts including processing utility bills and invoices, required notices, filing, and scheduling required services and repairs in coordination with the Public Works Department. The position also provides administrative assistance to the town’s contracted Bylaw Enforcement Officer and coordinates follow up remediation the Town is authorized to undertake. The role also assists the ongoing proper function of the municipality’s Information and Technology hardware and software systems as the lead coordinator with the Town’s IT providers, as needed.
The successful candidate will have completed grade 12 or equivalent as well as the equivalent of 3 years or more of successful office administration experience handling multiple accounts, payments, and data entry, a municipal or equivalent setting preferred. Sound knowledge and use of computer hardware and software in a Windows platform, and extensive experience in customer service is essential. Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
